Abstract: This work aims to analyze the location determinants of the agroindustry of corn ethanol in the Mato Grosso State, in order to verify the combination of location criteria to identify the most suitable regions for the construction of plants. It was used the logistic regression method and the results demonstrated that availability of paved roads, land prices, relief, proximity to highways and access to water were significant. Of the nine municipalities that host corn ethanol production units, it was identified that 77.78% also host corn warehouses, 55.56% have fuel distributors and 66.67% are located in regions considered suitable for the installation of these units when considering relief, proximity to highways and access to water.
